Gratitude is recognizing the good things in our lives and showing thanks.  Research shows that people who show thanks have better mental and physical health, have more friends, and have higher self-esteem.  There are many things in our lives to be thankful for.  Even when we have a bad day or going through COVID-19 there are many things to be thankful for.  Take time now to sit back, relax, and think about those things you are thankful for.  It may be as simple as having oxygen to breathe, waking up in the morning, the sun shining etc.  You can use the attached worksheet to document your responses or just write them on a sheet of paper.  You can also just think about them or talk to someone else.  Doing this everyday can help us remember things could always be worse and be thankful for the things we have now.
